White Water Apron Decals from Treasurecove

Being in the middle of a White Water restoration, I recently acquired a set of apron decals for White Water from Treasurecove.  The were printed from vector artwork so the detail is very sharp.  The other nice feature is they are pre-cut so they apply very easily to a properly prepped arch.

Below is an original (top) White Water arch and a refinished (bottom) arch using Treasurecove's apron decals.  You will notice immediately that the blue of the arch is different.  When I had the bottom spare apron stripped and powdercoated, I had them match the blue that was on Treasurecove's decal, which is slightly off from the original.  Personally, I like the new blue much better.  It's much more vibrant.  I didn't think the original arch was drab until I placed it next to the new arch for these photos.

DECAL.  Here you may notice that the boat at the top of the falls is white, not yellow as the original.  This was an oversight that was brought to Treasurecove's attention and should be corrected for future runs.  The detail on this is nice and crisp.  The precut line around the cloud made installation a breeze.

DECAL.  The font lettering is a perfect match and very well done.  There is a slight error in the vector art in the top yellow zig-zags that cuts into the black lines, but this is only noticeable upon VERY close inspection.  Again, being precut around the zigzags was a MAJOR bonus during installation.

CONCLUSION

With crisp artwork, vivid colors and precut installation ease, these decals are a fantastic fix for a damaged or scratched arch. Although there are some color variations, I don't feel they are an issue as most people that will be restoring their arch will need to repaint/repowdercoat anyway.  The end result is a professional looking product that any person should be proud to have on their machine.
